How is the CO2 Laser facial treatment performed?
In your first consultation, the specialist will assess your case in detail. Your medical history will be reviewed and your skin will be assessed to define your aesthetic objectives. Once the personalised protocol has been designed, we can plan the treatment and the number of sessions required.
On the day of treatment, the skin is thoroughly cleansed and, to ensure your comfort, topical or local anaesthesia is usually applied. The CO2 laser will then be adjusted to your specific needs. The light beam works precisely on the area to be treated, covering the superficial or deeper layers of the skin to achieve the desired aesthetic result. Once the session is over, soothing products are applied and specific care guidelines for the next few days are indicated.
After the session, it is essential to protect the skin from the sun, both with physical measures (caps, hats, etc.) and by applying photoprotection to the area.
